The short version
Fonts load from our own server, and the one outside service the site uses is Google Analytics. We collect what you send through a form, record limited campaign information when you follow a campaign link, and measure page visits with Google Analytics.
What we collect
When you send the contact form we receive your name, your email address, your website if you give it, and your message, along with the time and the IP address it was sent from. The IP address is kept only to help us spot and block spam.
That information is saved on our web server and an email notification is attempted so we can reply. Campaign tags such as a ref or utm_campaign are included with the enquiry when present. We also count requests to campaign-linked pages without logging a visitor identifier or IP address in those campaign records. These are request counts, not unique visitor counts.
Page visits are measured with Google Analytics: which pages you view, when, and roughly where you are, such as the city your connection comes from. Reports show us what content people actually read so we can improve the site. We look at aggregates; we do not build profiles of individuals.
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie, which lasts until you close your browser. It protects the contact form against forged submissions and supports the form’s confirmation and error feedback. It is also used to keep your form entries available after an error and to avoid saving the same enquiry twice. It is not used for marketing or campaign tracking.
Google Analytics also sets cookies with names beginning with _ga. They hold an identifier for your browser so return visits can be recognised, and they last for about two years.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries while responding and maintaining a record of our conversation. If we do not work together, enquiries are reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Campaign request records are reviewed for deletion after 90 days. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time. Short-lived, hashed IP rate-limit records help protect the form from spam.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than the company that hosts our website and email, which stores it on our behalf, and Google Analytics, which receives the page-visit measurement described above so we can see it in reports. We do not sell, share or rent your information.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@fusiondevelopers.org and we will do it promptly.
